Somewhere to Start

How to create a worthwhile or desirable future for my daughter and other "kids," with disabilities/special needs and their families? How to help create a future for my daughter and I to live into that gives us both quality of life and fulfilling experiences... with involvement from other like-minded souls? How to reduce the isolation i currently feel in my "normal" life?

The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. I think a richer tapestry can be created, as people find or invent their own contribution to being part of a "Revivement Village". I have no intention of ever "retiring" - I can't. I always have to be here for my daughter. But i do need somewhere I can come back to Life!

My core belief or reason for creating or becoming part of a co-operative village lies in creating an environment where people can do what they love each day, or in a managed way, without the need for money - but as a contribution that enriches the quality of life for all inhabitants. A symbiosis. For example, a person's contribution may be feeding chickens, emptying compost, gardening, or, looking after kids; or cooking the main meal of the day; or giving a massage; or doing building/construction work.... If everyone just contributed their skills - we would all benefit from having good food on the table, some child care, or main meal provided each day, health opportunities/relaxation, improved infrastructure.... At minimal or no cost. I think it's called Working Together.  Seems obvious?!

So let's do it!
